a. Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your email address, encrypted password, and language/region (inferred from browser settings).

b. Financial Data

All financial records you create in Moneasy — including income, expenses, notes, categories, and other entries — are stored securely in our database and treated as private. Your data is only accessible to you through your account and is never shared or sold.

c. Technical and Usage Data

We automatically collect limited technical information such as browser type, device type, anonymized IP address, and timestamps. This helps us detect bugs, improve performance, and prevent abuse.

d. Payment Data

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or billing details; Stripe handles this information under their own Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; manage user accounts; send transactional emails; respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations. We never sell, rent, or trade your data.

3. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts and their data are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Backups are purged within 60 days.

4. Data Security

We use modern security standards and strict access controls to protect your personal and financial information. All communication with our servers is secured via HTTPS/TLS. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we apply strong technical and organizational measures to ensure your data remains private and protected at every layer.

5. Data Sharing and Processors

We only share your data with trusted service providers who help us operate Moneasy. They are bound by GDPR-compliant agreements and cannot use your information for their own purposes.

Moneasy uses only essential cookies for authentication and sessions. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
